Strawberry and Ink is a free female-only book club connecting young women aged 18 and over who love to read, write and express themselves from all across Leicester City. The club aims to hold monthly face-to-face events to build a community of book lovers who like to share their passion for books and bond over their similarities while appreciating their differences. The book club provides a great opportunity to build amazing friendships with like-minded women as well as improving interpersonal skills through activities and events while still enjoying every minute.
OUR STORY
Hi, we are Cherry and Blossom, we are best friends in our 20s who love trying new food, picnics and of course reading and journaling.
The idea of Strawberry and Ink came along as we were on the search for a local book club where we could meet like-minded girlies who also enjoy reading and trying new places as well as discussing books. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any so
WE DECIDED TO MAKE ONE OURSELVES!
